Giving to CPRC

The Cancer Pain Research Consortium is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded to improve the management of cancer related pain through interdisciplinary collaboration in research, best practice guidelines and patient/physician education.  Our mission is to generate and promote interdisciplinary, patient-centered, evidence-based care for cancer-related pain and suffering.

As malignancies are diagnosed earlier and anti-cancer treatments have continued to succeed, more people are surviving beyond their cancer diagnoses.  At least half of these patients diagnosed will experience pain either at the time of their diagnosis, during treatments, as a result of life saving or life prolonging procedures.  Putting cancer related pain into the background and rebuilding life is the goal of our research and practice efforts.  We strive to overcome battles of pain; at the time of diagnosis and during anti-cancer treatments to help patients thrive in the next stages of their life.

We endeavor to aggressively develop new interventions, improve medical management, empower prevention and control efforts, and relieve end of life suffering.  We invite you to join our efforts at our annual meeting and throughout the year.  We cannot succeed without your help and are thankful for your support.
